Q. Will you call me if my child becomes ill?
A. If your child has a temperature of 101 degrees or greater; three episodes of diarrhea or is vomiting, you will be called and asked to pick up your child and take them home. Because we are unable to provide care for a sick child, and your child's health and the health of all of the children in their classroom is important to us, your child is not to return until they are symptom free for 24 hours, Tylenol free. Children with communicable diseases will be required to bring a doctors note to return to school.
Q. Can my child be given medicine while they are at school?
A. Medication can be given to your child only if it is prescribed medication from your child's doctor and has a prescription label attached to the box or bottle. Over-the-counter medications may be given with a doctor's note only. Medications must be in their original container with the child's first and last name on it. In order for the medication to be administered to your child, you will need to fill out a Medication Consent Form which is available in the school office.
